hi! i have a character who was infected by a type of dark science/magic in his world that left him host to a demon that comes out inconveniently and takes over his body. it takes over when he's unconscious or sleeping, and he uses a sleep tonic to slow his heart to keep himself from transforming, but sometimes it doesn't work. it's like possession, but does this count as a power? it's a huge life-ruining thing for him and major source of conflict for his character. he really doesn't..... want it back lmao but to lose it would change things up significantly for him.
