most of matt's abilities — his martial arts training, acrobatics, stealth, medical skills — all stem from years of training since the accident he suffered as a kid but aren't instant gifts given to him, if that makes sense? in other words, a lot of what makes daredevil daredevil is hard work and constant training. his superpowers in this regard (enhanced agility and dexterity) give him an edge in a fight against other enhanced individuals, for sure, and allow him to take on much more than a baseline human, but i'm willing to nerf that extra edge so he'd have to be more careful about getting beat up as well as how much damage he can take before breaking.
in terms of his enhanced senses — namely: hearing, taste, touch, and smell — in canon, they're enhanced to the degree of being able to taste the brand of alcohol on someone's lips, or feel the vibrations in the air to predict an oncoming attack. in-game, would it be possible to allow him these other senses to make up for his lack of sight, but at ~half-efficiency? so still above baseline, to give him the opportunity to move around in the world in lieu of his sight, and be playable and useful in the environment, but still clearly capped from being overpowered or 'having it easy'. because having it easy is also no fun.
alternatively, he could keep his hearing and smell intact or at something like 70% efficiency, but perhaps taste and touch (for example) could be baseline?
definitely flexible and willing to tweak these suggestions!
