Couple dumb questions about items here as I'm tagging in the TDM and making quick decisions about what would show up -- - Weapons like hunting rifles etc are mentioned as findable. Is that common enough that a new character would be able to pick one up pretty quickly, or could ask about it? [Subtext: is it a waste of an item slot, lol.]
- What's the vibe of "things not normally carried on them"? Specifically, I have Teddy waking up with the pocket knife/multitool they had with them when they last remember being awake. That IS a thing they absolutely would generally have on them leaving the house -- along with another item I'm contemplating (pocket notebook) and quite a few that don't matter either way (lighter, pocket flashlight, etc etc): they're just this side of camping gay shy of being the kind of person who has absolutely serious "EDC" conversations). But I know the multitool's...got a lot of practical functionality packed into it, and I don't want to go overboard? Would that and/or the notebook be part of the three items, or would either of those count as "carried with them"?
