Hello, sorry for the delay! Not a strange question at all!!
So I've spent some time thinking about this and I think it may fall to a case by case basis with characters who have cybernetic enhancements or are androids. I do have a few points that would likely be more 'blanket' effects for these kinds of characters.
Characters who require charging from electrical mains (ie. Synths from Humans) will no longer require this, as their battery/power supply will be frozen once they've passed through the Aurora on arrival. They won't run out of power and shut down.
Characters with enhancements would have their enhancements reduced to basic functions. If they had a cybernetic eye/s, for example, it would only function as well as a standard human's might. So, for the case of androids in Detroit Become Human for example, they wouldn't have things like the reconstruction ability or the advanced ocular scanning system. Things like super-speed or super-strength would be reduced to that of a typical human, too.
The "Aurora Nights" in Singillatim could be something that players could play around with in which they could have characters malfunction or become over-charged with the energy for a short time, much like how the aurora messes around with electrics in The Long Dark.
I'm absolutely willing to talk over ideas with how prospective players may want to go about things, though!
