Actually, in this case I'd be more than happy to allow the character to remain an android and have the Aurora 'freeze' the need for the "nectar" that they require to function — for the sake of playability without needing to change too much of the character.
It would be similar case to android characters who require electricity in order to charge themselves up. Or there's another character in game who requires a certain drug that only exists in their world in order to live.
